{"id":4545,"date":"2024-04-17T16:00:42","date_gmt":"2024-04-17T15:00:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wivivision.com\/?p=4545"},"modified":"2025-07-16T14:40:19","modified_gmt":"2025-07-16T12:40:19","slug":"wivi-vision-wins-the-2024-bioexit-award-granted-by-cataloniabio-healthtech","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wivivision.com\/wivi-vision-wins-the-2024-bioexit-award-granted-by-cataloniabio-healthtech\/","title":{"rendered":"WIVI wins the Bio\u00e8xit Award granted by CataloniaBio &amp; HealthTech"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>We are thrilled to be one of <strong>the winners of the Bio\u00e8xit Award 2024<\/strong>, alongside AstraZeneca, granted by CataloniaBio &amp; HealthTech.<\/p>\n\n<p>This recognition motivates us to continue working towards our goal of improving the well-being of the population with the support of new technologies to make visual efficiency care universal.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">CataloniaBio &amp; HealthTech rewards the trajectory of WIVI Vision<\/h2>\n\n<p>For WIVI Vision, it&#8217;s a great honor to receive this award from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lavanguardia.com\/vida\/20240311\/9552622\/empresas-astrazeneca-wivi-vision-ganadoras-premio-bioexit-2024-agenciaslv20240311.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the tenth edition of the Bio\u00e8xit Awards<\/a>, which recognize <strong>the best projects<\/strong> of innovation and entrepreneurs in the biomedical and health sector in Catalonia.<\/p>\n\n<p>The &#8216;Nit&#8217; is the annual event where CataloniaBio &amp; HealthTech celebrates this award and has been attended by more than 300 attendees, including government officials, entrepreneurs, executives, researchers, and partners.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>The Health Minister, Manel Balcells<\/strong>, was responsible for presenting the Bio\u00e8xit Award to <a href=\"https:\/\/wivivision.com\/index.php\/2024\/03\/12\/eva-garcia-ramos-one-of-the-35-spanish-women-leaders-in-technology-according-to-forbes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Eva Garc\u00eda Ramos<\/a>, CEO and Co-founder of WIVI Vision, and Marta Moreno, Director of Corporate Affairs and Market Access at AstraZeneca.<\/p>\n\n<p>Our startup has been awarded for its recent <strong>internationalization<\/strong>, entering <a href=\"https:\/\/wivivision.com\/index.php\/2023\/11\/20\/wivi-vision-enters-the-united-states-hand-in-hand-with-a-local-partner\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the US market<\/a> through a local partner, <strong>consolidating its presence in Spain<\/strong>, and securing significant agreements with specialized firms.<\/p>\n\n<p>We deeply appreciate CataloniaBio &amp; HealthTech for <strong>recognizing the potential of WIVI Vision<\/strong> and for highlighting our <a href=\"https:\/\/wivivision.com\/index.php\/2023\/07\/14\/how-to-turn-visual-training-into-a-fun-activity\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">innovation<\/a> and positive impact on society.
